Searching for inspiration

Last week I posted a song in response to a post by Miranda Suri about what turns you on to write. I struggled with what song to pick, more than a few came to mind.  I thought it might be something worth sharing. For the writers in the audience I hope I am preaching to the choir when I say Leonard Cohen is extremely evocative music and great listening for inspiration.  If you are wondering who I am talking about, you need to get yourself to your favorite source of music and start exploring.  But first, go here.

Leonard Cohen, “Take this waltz”

There is a wealth of narrative and emotions waiting on you in his works. I saw his most recent concert here in Austin.  It was nothing short of a magical experience.
