You wish you could smell them.

Trust me, you do.

“Scratch and Sniff” touch screens are the wave of the future.

If you ask nice, I will even share my recipe.

  1. Pretty please with sugar on top?

Or you could just bring some to San Antonio…

    • seamusbayne says:

      3 very ripe bananas
      2 eggs
      1 tbsp good vanilla
      3 cups of flour
      1 cup sugar
1 stick butter (melted and room temperature)
      1/2 cup sour cream
      1 tsp baking powder
      1 tsp baking soda
      1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Cream together the peeled bananas, eggs, sugar, vanilla and sour cream and blend until smooth

Add the baking soda and powder and give a quick blend

Add one cup of flour at a time and blend only enough to combine.
Once all the flour is in, fold in the chocolate chips.

This will make a very thick, viscous batter.

I ladle it into a greased large muffin pan and bake it for 45 mins at 325 or until a tooth pick comes out clean.

Allow to cool enough to remove from the tin and then on a rack until firm or you can’t wait any longer.

The muffins are dense and cake like, loaded with chocolate and delicious.
